Issue Position

TJ believes that we all need the best education we can get. Quality teachers are the key. TJ believes that we should support and encourage people to become teachers. We should encourage more minorities to become teachers and mentors. Our quality teachers need to be supported and well compensated. We need to create an environment in our schools where our teachers can teach, not babysit. We also need to make sure that parents have a say in their children's education and that they have more educational options. A one size fits all approach does not work when individuals have different needs and abilities.
